Soft Focaccia with Chili Pepper Salami and Tropea Onions

INGREDIENTS
300 g flour
3 eggs
100 g butter
3 tablespoons grated parmesan
2 tablespoons Marchisio Salami with Chili Pepper, diced
4 tablespoons double cream
2 tablespoons milk
1 bag backing powder for savoury pies
1 Tropea onion, thinly sliced
Salt, pepper and butter

METHOD
1.Preheat oven to 220°C and melt the butter in a small pan
2.In a bowl, mix the melted butter, parmesan, cream, eggs, milk and diced Marchisio Salami with Chili Pepper.
3.Add the flour and the baking powder and mix, then add salt and pepper to taste: the dough should be quite thick.
4.Put the dough in a baking tray greased with butter, level it and cover with the onion rings thinly sliced.
5.Cover the focaccia with some baking paper and oven cook for about half an hour: the time changes a little from oven to oven, when ready the focaccia should be of a nice golden colour and you can check the inside with a stick, if it comes out dry the focaccia is ready.
